There's No Better Time to See FSC in Person

Feb 27, 2026

Websites can show you the campus. Brochures can tell you about the programs. But neither one can replicate the feeling of walking under a canopy of live oaks on a warm February afternoon, or the conversation that starts when you sit down with a faculty member who actually knows your name. Some things you just have to experience in person.

Spring in Central Florida makes the decision even easier. While most of the country is still shaking off winter, Lakeland is warm, green, and in full bloom — and there's no better backdrop for seeing one of the nation's most beautiful campuses firsthand. FSC has appeared on The Princeton Review's Most Beautiful Campus list for 14 consecutive years, and the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, lakeside setting, and 70-degree February afternoons are the kind of thing you have to see to believe.

Getting here is easier than you think. FSC is within an hour of both Orlando and Tampa, and Avelo Airlines offers direct flights to Lakeland Linder Airport from select cities, including Nashville, Atlanta, and Grand Rapids.

When you visit, here's what you can look forward to: tours of our iconic Frank Lloyd Wright campus; exploring our 70+ academic programs, research, and study abroad opportunities; one-on-one conversations with faculty and current students; and expert guidance on financial aid and scholarships.

Choose the visit that's right for you:

  • Southern Select. Happening Saturday, March 21, this event brings together accepted students for a full day of real campus life — from a high-energy pep rally with Mocsie, to Academic Showcases where you can connect directly with faculty, to student panels and time to explore clubs and campus activities at the Student Life Expo. It's your chance to see exactly where you'd fit in.

Haven't applied yet? It's not too late — apply now and get your invitation.

  • Southern Showcase. Our signature open house, on Saturday, April 11, is for prospective students and families at any stage of the search. Spend the day touring campus, attending academic program sessions, getting financial aid and scholarship guidance, and connecting with faculty, staff, and current students who can answer your questions firsthand. Stick around after the formal program for an athletics event or theatre performance, and get a real feel for what a weekend at FSC actually looks like.

  • Daily Campus Tours. Not ready for a full event, or just want a more personal experience? We offer individual visits Monday-Friday, including a one-on-one information session with an admissions counselor and a guided campus tour. It's a great option for students who want dedicated time to ask questions and explore at their own pace.
